Inspired by Lisa’s “breakthrough” post, here’s a post about my favorite new practice tool. I made a 3-way hinged mirror so I can get a side view of bow angle, sound point, and left hand without turning my head to look in a mirror. That’s fun and revealing. 😉
I don’t think I can insert a photo here, but if you are interested in making one, there are some YouTube tutorials, mostly described as self-cut systems for hair cutting (I’m not cutting my own hair!).
For portability, I used 16″ mirrors with plastic frames. The whole project took about an hour.
Yay! That is so awesome! When I have more space, I’d love to do something similar!
I always have a mirror when I practice but if I can see without turning the body or head, that would be so ideal! 🙂
